Merge Module with Verbose Logging?

Is this possible?
When troubleshooting MSDE install issues in the field, verbose logging
would be nice. But as far as I can see, it's only available for the
standalone install (/L*v), and not the merge module.
I should probably add that my install is an Installshield-based
compressed setup.exe.
