merge cannot be performed

I have an error in our replication server. The error reads, "The merge
process could not perform retention-based meta data cleanup in Database
"ourdatabasename".
The detail portion of the errors indicates that "The index entry for row ID
WAS NOT FOUND IN INDEX ID 2, of table 421576540 in database
"ourdatabasename".
does anybody know what this is and how we can fix it.

run a DBCC reindex. You may have to drop the subscription to do this.

Merge Agent and ActiveX Parameters for Replication

Hi All,
I currently use the SQL Merge ActiveX control to perform synchronization
from my application. In SQL Enterprise Manager, you can configure the Merge
Agent Parameters (-KeepMessageAliveInterval, -QueryTimeout, etc.), but you
can also do this from the ActiveX control. My question is, which one takes
precedent? If I configure values in the Merge Agent's Parameters, then
configure different values in the ActiveX control, which are used? Does the
server take precedence? I would think the ActiveX control's parameters
would be used, but I just want to make sure.
Regards,
Brad
you can specify which profile you want to use. If you try to right click on
your agent, when it is created by an activeX control you will find that you
are unable to set these properties.

Mercury LoadRunner

I am using MS SQL 2005. I am working with a consultant to load test my app.
I heard rumors that Mercury LoadRunner can't perform load testing on an app
that uses ADO/OLE DB.
Has anyone tried this? If so, do you have any links that I can look at?
Why would the app testing the app care what the app uses behind the scenes
to connect to the database? Should be completely transparent to the testing
app.

This is what I thought, but it supposedly traps the low level calls (DB
Calls) so the UI doesn't need to be opened. They are trying to see what
happens to the database server when 3500 users are hitting it from my app.
They record the calls, then replicate those calls over and over again.

Memory Tab; SQL Server Properties (Accessing)

Hi,
- I cannot access the Memory Tab to change the memory settings.
- I receive the following error message: Error 8651: Could not perform the
requested operation because the minimum query memory is not available.
Decrease the configured value for the 'min memory per query' server
configuration option.
- The maximum memory was accidentily set to 0 in the SQL Server Properties
Memory Tab.
Is there another way to access and change the maximum memory setting other
than through Enterprise Manager?
Thank you.

Thank you for the suggestion.
I entered the following in the query analyzer, and was then able to access
the memory tab again to make the correction to max memory:
sp_configure 'max server memory', 2147483647
go
reconfigure
go
Thank you!
